No copy transactions received from an Equitrac Embedded for eCopy & PCMini configuration

Problem Statement

No copy transactions received from an Equitrac Embedded for eCopy & PCMini configuration. However scan transactions are being counted and sent to database.

Cause

MFP was not configured for an external control device, which allowed users to make copies without logging in to the embedded Equitrac popup. Users did have to log in to scan to access eCopy options.

Resolution

Configure MFP for external control device per vendor instructions.  Verify that  copy transactions are now being recorded.
