Question / Problem:
When attempting to upgrade the Kofax Analytics for Captrure software (KAFC_Installer.exe), then the upgrade stops when Starting: Execute One Time Plan.
Answer / Solution:
This issue is potentially related to a known issue during the upgrade of the Kofax Analytics for Capture product:
- Bug 1258356: Upgrade to KAFC 2.1 may not complete due to Import progress: Error : Couldn't import 'TitleColors'
Steps to Manually Complete the KAFC 2.1 Upgrade:
- Go to Studio, Update “Stats DB” data source connection with KC DB Stats info.
- Go to Data Loader and execute following plan:
- Execute “One Time Plan” plan from “Beginning of time” to “Current time”
- Execute “Fix 1.2.0.2 Data” plan from “Beginning of time” to “Current time”
- Execute “Fix 1.2.1.1 Data” plan from “Beginning of time” to “Current time”
- Execute “Fix 1.2.1.1 Data for Processes” plan from “0:0 A.M Today” to “Current time”
- Execute “Calculate 2.0 Process Data” plan from “0:0 A.M Today” to “Current time”
- Execute “Calculate 2.0 Data” plan from “Beginning of time” to “Current time”
- Execute “Calculate 2.0.0.2 Data” plan from “Beginning of time” to “Current time”
- Execute “Fix 2.0 Data plan” from “Beginning of time” to “Current time”
- Execute “Calculate 2.1 Data” plan from “Beginning of time” to “Current time”
- Execute “Fix 2.1 Data” plan from “Beginning of time” to “Current time”
- Update Data Service Config ("C:\Program Files\Kofax\Insight 6.0.0\WcfDataService\Web.config") with the following values:
