Question / Problem:
Administrator password was changed or is no longer known - how can that be updated?
Answer / Solution:
1. From the Insight server (if you have more than one Insight server, any server can be used and this only needs to be run once), navigate to Insight application folder. By default, this is C:\Program Files\Kofax\Insight x.x.x\InstallManager\Altosoft.Insight.InstallManager.exe. Be sure to enter as follows and apply quotation marks carefully as shown:
"C:\Program Files\Kofax\Insight x.x.x\InstallManager\Altosoft.Insight.InstallManager.exe" /i
2. Navigate through the wizard until the Password prompt fields are displayed (enter password twice). This is the new password you will assign to the Administrator account.
3. Proceed through the wizard, verifying all other settings until completed.
4. Test logging into Admin application to verify update.
