How to Configure View's Custom Date and Time Format

Issue

View displays a date field  without time. How can the format be changed to display both date and time?

 

 

Solution

The configuration is somewhat hidden but, the format options are configured first in Themes and Formats application. Check and verify that your preferred format exists, or create it if not:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Next, open Studio and with the view selected, scroll down the property panel to the Data section, expand Series, then expand the date field, Appearance, and select the box, Use custom format. Scroll up slightly and a new property is enabled: Format name. Select the preferred format from there and save.
