Insight Azure Configuration Settings

Issue

Where are all the available parameters kept for Insight's Azure installation?

Solution

1. Download the Azure version of Insight and extract the zip file.
2. Open the ServiceConfiguration.Cloud.cscfg file and review the parameters available for both scheduler and data service roles.

Azure Cloud storage is required. When configuring storage-related settings, be sure to update the following entry in that file for both the scheduler and data service roles:

<Setting name="Insight.Storage" value="DefaultEndpointsProtocol=https;AccountName={StorageAccountName};AccountKey={AccountKey}" />
