Question / Problem:
When attempting to retrieve the fields of a selected table in a data source, nothing happens when the button is clicked. What are some troubleshooting tips to help resolve this?
Answer / Solution:
Retrieving the fields isn't a required task to build a project, however, here are some things to try to resolve this issue:
- From the selected source's Property Panel, check the box labeled Use Schema in Query. Save and retest.
- If that doesn't help, try logging out of all Insight apps and restart IIS to refresh Insight's data service. Then retry.
If the above steps do not resolve this issue, zip up and send the Insight log files to Kofax Technical Support via a Support Case. Log files, by default, are located in C:\Temp\Insight x.x.x folder.
