Question / Problem:
When attempting to Test a metric, the above error is shown. What causes that and how can it be resolved?
Answer / Solution:
This error occurs for several reasons:
1. There are no mapped aggregations in the metric. Review all mapped fields and verify one exists and that the mapped field is configured as "Value" for the Purpose property.
2. If this is a new or copied metric or if created in a new folder, you must grant rights to these objects. In Admin | Roles, verify these new objects display and are checked for your role. It is recommended to log out of any open sessions in all Insight applications after making changes to your role. Then log back in and verify.
