Question / Problem:
Why does this error show when attempting to perform various tasks with Insight, including loading of data or testing data connections?
Answer / Solution:
This error may occur if the Scheduler service isn't running. Check and verify that first.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, there may be an issue with Insight internally synchronizing the Administrator password with the Scheduler service. Try the following:
1. In Admin console, change the Administrator account password.
2. Retry your task to check if the issue is resolved.
3. Change the password back to your preferred password in Admin console.
4. Retest your task and verify it still works.
This error may occur if InstallManager.exe /i was run in an environment where the Insight installation was done using the "Custom" option. To determine the INSTALLATION_TYPE, check the following Registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Altosoft\Insight 6.x.0\InstallSettings.
