Question / Problem:

On a brand new installation of KAFC, no new data is populating the KAFC Dashboard Views.

Answer / Solution:

This issue can be caused if the Staging and Data databases were crisscrossed during the Listener installation. To validate if this is the case, check for either of the following errors in the noted log files.

KAFC_listener.log

YYYY-MM-DDT14:55:40.3748178-05:00, Error sending data for batch 'Kofax Test' from module
'Batch Manager'. System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[System.ServiceModel.ExceptionDetail]: Invalid object name 'StationInfo'.
(Fault Detail is equal to An ExceptionDetail, likely created by IncludeExceptionDetailInFaults=true, whose value is:
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Invalid object name 'StationInfo'.
at PADService.PADService.SendSession(String login, String password, Session s)

WFA log

YYYY-MM-DDT14:55:40.3748178-05:00, Error sending data for batch 'Kofax Test' from module
'Batch Manager'. System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[System.ServiceModel.ExceptionDetail]: Invalid object name 'StationInfo'.
(Fault Detail is equal to An ExceptionDetail, likely created by IncludeExceptionDetailInFaults=true, whose value is:
System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Invalid object name 'StationInfo'.
at PADService.PADService.SendSession(String login, String password, Session s)

If the following errors are shown in either log, then a reinstallation of the Listener is required (KFXWebAgentSetup.exe) and verify that the Staging and Data databases are pointed correctly.
