Disable Automatic Index Rebuilding For Unusable Indexes
Question / Problem:
Kofax Analytics for Capture Alert.Log for the database is showing that Indexes have been marked unusable. Is there any method to disable unused indexes in the KAFC application?
Answer / Solution:
The issue where indexes have been marked as unusable is due to the way in which Kofax Insight is rebuilding the indexes automatically, as opposed to being done by Oracle.
A snippet of the possible error(s) has been included for reference, as follows:
Index KCKA_PRDKOF01_D.I_BatchGuidChangedFieldBatc_01 or some [sub]partitions of the index have been marked unusable
Index KCKA_PRDKOF01_D.I_ReceivedTimeChangedFieldB_01 or some [sub]partitions of the index have been marked unusable
Index KCKA_PRDKOF01_D.I_HistoryOfFieldDeleteChunk or some [sub]partitions of the index have been marked unusable
