Unable to load the KCN Server Administration components error when launching Administration Module

Question / Problem:
I receive the following error message when opening the Administration module:
"Unable to load the KCN Server Administration components. Your installation of Kofax Capture may be corrupt. Try to perform an "Update" installation on this workstation to correct the issue. [1000] AcisConfiguration: Unknown Error (Guid should contain 32 digits with 4 dashes (xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx))".
How can I resolve this issue?
Answer / Solution:
This error is caused by the missing Site GUID within the Kofax Capture / Ascent Capture (KC/AC) installation system, which is a sign of a incomplete or corrupted installation.
The official resolution for this issue is to uninstall and reinstall Capture. However, if that is not possible, the Kofax / Ascent Capture Deployment Utility with the /default
parameter can be used to resolve this issue.
