Workflow agent is missing Error 2030 when importing a Batch Class

Question / Problem:

I have exported a Batch Class from a development test environment.

When I attempt to import the Batch Class into a production environment, I receive the following error message:

"Error 2030 Workflow agent is missing".

How can I resolve this is issue?

Answer / Solution:

This error indicates that the Batch Class is referencing a Workflow Agent that has not yet been installed on the production system where the Batch Class is attempting to be imported.

To resolve this issue, the Workflow Agent must be installed before the Batch Class can be successfully imported.
