Question / Problem:
After upgrading from Kofax Capture 10 Service Pack 2 Fix Pack 2 (10.0.2.2) to Kofax Capture 10.1.0 R2, the following message is displayed when launching Batch Manager:
Kofax Capture Batch Manager has stopped working. Windows can check online for a solution to the problem. Check online for a solution and close the program Close the program Debug the program
How can I resolve this issue?
Answer / Solution:
An observed cause of this issue is the installation of a third-party application causing the
log4net.dll file to change in the Capture
To resolve this issue under such a scenario:
- Stop/close all Kofax modules and services.
- Obtain a copy of the
log4net.DLLfile from a confirmed working system.
- Rename the problematic
oldin one of the following folders:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Kofax\CaptureSS\ServLib\Bin
C:\Program Files (x86)\Kofax\Capture\Bin
- Replace the faulty copy with the known good copy.
