Question / Problem:
I receive an error message similar to the following when deleting a Batch in Batch Manager:
" KdoLib: Error getting mdb connection. (3343) Unrecognized database format 'C:\DOCUME~1\ALLUSE~1\APPLIC~1\Kofax\Capture\Local\BatchDB\000a7313.mdb'".
How can I resolve this issue?
Answer / Solution:
This error indicates that the Batch MDB file may have been corrupted.
The initial solution will be using the Batch Removal Utility (BRU). Make sure you back up the images and the Batch database before removing the Batch.
If you receive the same error message when trying to remove the Batch, then apply the following steps:
- Create a new Batch in Batch Manager.
- Open the Database Utility ¦ Repair and Compact tab to determine the path of the Batch MDB file created in Step 1. Browse to the path, make a copy of the MDB file, and paste it somewhere safe.
- Apply Step 2, but this time, find out the path of the MDB file for the corrupted Batch. Browse to the path and replace the MDB file with the one retrieved in Step 2.
- Delete the corrupted Batch and the new Batch (created in Step 1) either from Batch Manager or using the BRU.
