Question / Problem: 

When attempting to manually process a Batch via Batch Manager, the following message is encountered:

This batch is currently being processed by a Kofax Capture application. If you need to access the batch, you must wait for the batch to be closed.

 

Is this normal and why does this display?

Answer / Solution: 

Yes. This is normal and occurs because of a new method used for locking the next batch for a user (Batch Partitioning). If this poses an issue for the customer, an ACConfig.XML tag exists to revert to the old locking method:

NOTE: In order for the above tag to work, it is necessary to be on KC 10.2 Fix Pack 4 (or higher).
