Question / Problem:
Modules "die" intermittently, and in the KC error log, the following error message is logged:
\Kofax\CaptureSS\ServLib\Bin, BatchNotification, <Machine_Name>, , , 0, BatchNotifier.BatchNotificationThreadMain, The server threw an exception. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80010105 (RPC_E_SERVERFAULT))"
followed by a module error message:
What might be the cause?
Answer / Solution:
This has been seen to occur due to antivirus software interferring with Kofax modules. Adding exclusions to antivirus software according to QAID 11948 should help to resolve this issue.
