Solution

Below are the Kofax folder exclusions that are recommended as Best Practices:

Capture Server

• C:\ProgramData\Kofax
• C:\ProgramData\Kofax Image Products
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Kofax
• C:\Users\User name\AppData\Local\Temp

NOTE - If the CaptureSV share's folder path has been configured to any folder path besides the default C:\ProgramData\Kofax, then the entire contents of the CaptureSV requires exclusion.  Ex. <servername>\..\CaptureSV

Capture Client

• C:\ProgramData\Kofax
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Kofax\Capture 
• C:\Users\User name\AppData\Local\Temp

Additional Folder Exclusions that may be located on the Capture Server and Capture Client (based on Kofax customizations specific to the implementation).

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Kofax

Also include a specific exclusion to ignore any *.TIF files and any additional Release Scripts, Custom Modules or applications used by Kofax Capture.

NOTE: These paths may vary, depending on the Operating System version and environment.
