Enable detailed logging for KCNS

Issue

How can I turn on detailed logging for KCN Server / ACI Server?

 

Solution

To turn on detailed logging:

Edit the %windows%\win.ini file, where %windows% by default will be C:\WINDOWS .

Add the following lines to the win.ini file on the Remote Site:

[KDB|

FileName=c:\temp\remote.txt

File=On

 

Add the following lines to the win.ini file on the Central Site:

[KDB]

FileName=c:\temp\central.txt

File=On

Do not keep the detailed logging enabled for longer than necessary, as the log file will grow rapidly.
