Find Kofax Capture Serial Number and Product Code

Issue

How can i find out my Kofax Capture Serial number and if needed the corresponding product code?

Solution

You open the application "Kofax Capture License Utility" from the start menu of windows or you run the application from the installation location of Kofax Capture e.g. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Kofax\CaptureSS\ServLib\Bin\KSALicenseUtility.exe".

When the application is started, the used serial number is shown in the footer bar of the application.

You can also click File -> Activate and you will see the used serial number with the product code and the machine ID used for activation.
