Set the Document ID, Batch ID and/or Sequence Number

How can I set the Document ID, Batch ID and/or Sequence Number?

 

Solution

It is possible to reset the Document ID, Batch ID and/or Sequence Number with the Kofax Capture Database Utility Tool. You will need to start the Database Utility Tool with the command "/supporttab". Please use your specific Kofax Capture Installation "Bin" path.

For example:

Server Path:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Kofax\CaptureSS\ServLib\Bin\DBUtil.exe /supporttab

 

Standalone Path:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Kofax\Capture\Bin\DBUtil.exe /supporttab

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Caution

Please make sure:

• that all Kofax modules are closed and Kofax Services are stopped, except the Kofax Capture Service
• that the exclusive access to the Database is possible
• that there are no Batches in your Applications
• to purge all Statistics information, if applicable, to prevent duplicates of the ID's
