Question / Problem:
When installing a Kofax Capture workstation, I receive the following error message:
“Specified station id is already in use please use a different station ID”.
Answer / Solution:
This can occur after a failed client workstation installation.
The issue can be resolved by browsing to the “StationID” folder in the Kofax Capture Server share, and deleting the file with a filename that is the same as the client workstation computer name attempting the installation.
