Installation of KCNS using Setup.exe does not resume after reboot

Question / Problem:

After running Setup.exe to install KCNS, it rebooted as instructed, however, the second part of the installation did not start.

Why is this happening and how can I resolve this issue?

Answer / Solution:

This can occur when using an ISO file of Kofax Capture to install the KCNS component. Sometimes the ISO is located on a share that doesn't reconnect in time for the installation to resume.

To work around this issue, run SETUPF_ACI.EXE from the IIS Server's Program Files (x86)\KCN Server\Bin directory.
