Can't contact server error 7001 when launching the License Utility using Hardware License Dongle

Question / Problem: 

On a Standalone Capture server using a hardware dongle, the following error is occurring:

7001 error can't contact the server

 

Additionally, the following functionality was confirmed:


 1.  Determined port 2424 was open by telneting to it successfully.
 2.  Dbutil was launching.

 

Answer / Solution: 

 One potential resolution is to run a repair install of Kofax Capture after stopping the Capture service.
