How can I re-activate a software based license for Kofax Capture after replacing the NIC/network card?

Answer / Solution:

This can be reset with the assistance of the Kofax Inside Sales department.

The process is as follows:

  1. In order for Inside Sales to see this change request, the license must be in a temporary activation mode. To obtain a temporary Activation Code, please fill out the form on the Request Temporary Activation Code for Kofax Products page on the Kofax Web site.
  2. Once a temporary code is issued from the system, contact your Inside Sales representative and let them know that a hardware change was made. They will reset the license, and you will be able to re-activate to your permanent code.
