How to enable Single Sign-On debug logging for Capture 10.2 and higher

Answer / Solution:

Starting with Capture 10.2 and higher, the following debugging steps will help identify authentication issues.

You may be required to log in as an Administrator to complete the steps below:

  1. Stop any Kofax services (modules) that are running on the system.
  2. Open System Properties (Right-click on Computer or My Computer and select Properties, then select Advanced System Settings) .
  3. Select the Advanced tab.
  4. Click the Environment Variables button.
  5. Create a new System variable named KCUserProfileLoggingEnabled.
  6. Set the parameter value to True.
  7. Reproduce the issue, then close the module.

The log file, named KCUserProfile.txt, can be found in the \\CaptureSV\Logs folder. Please send the log file to the Kofax Technical Support Engineer.
