Solution

Kofax Client/Server configuration supports UNC path over LAN.

If the NAS is on the same Client/Server LAN and its UNC paths are transparent to Kofax environment, the configuration will be limited supported. 

• Issues caused by Network delays, firewalls/proxies configuration, or other NAS environment/components including performances, need to be replicated in a local path before requesting Kofax support.

NAS replication has to be handled by the customer it is not supported by Kofax.
