Copied Scanner Profiles not listed in Scan Module

Question / Problem: 

How can I resolve an issue where copied scanner profiles are not listed in the Scan module?

 

Answer / Solution: 

To resolve this issue:

 

1. Check that the Scanner profiles folder were copied to the following folder on the machine:

 

<drive_letter>:\ProgramData\Kofax\Capture\Local\ScannerProfiles

 

2. Set the value of the NtfsDisable8dot3NameCreation registry key to 0 located under the following registry hive:

 

 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem

 

3. Reboot machine.
