TIFF JPEG Output Types that Contain Tag 512 in Header

What are the different styles of TIFF JPEG Output that have tag 512?

Answer / Solution: 

In the Scanner Configuration Utility you can adjust the Scan Source for the following output:

- “Kofax Classic”: Old-style JPEG compression without tag 512.

- “TIFF 6.0”: Old-style JPEG compression with tag 512.

- “Technical Note 2”: JPEG compression without tag 512.

Once you have made the necessary change, you will need to restart the Kofax Capture and Export service.
