7001 SALicClnt: The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden

Issue

I am unable to connect to the License Server.

Kofax Capture ERR logs is throwing the said error below:-

Cause

This could possible be due to permission to the database or caused by a proxy.

Solution

Solution 1:-
1) Ensure the Service Account and Password is correct and are able to connect to the database

Solution 2:-
1) Disable the Servers Proxy Settings in Internet Options

• Open Internet Explorer
• Go to Internet Options
• Go to Connections Tab > LAN settings
• Check if there are proxy server setup
• Disable/Uncheck this if there is any
