8080 ACLicImp: The Activation code is not licensed for use with the current installed version of Kofax Capture

Issue

When trying to activate the Kofax Capture license, I receive the following error:

"[8080] ACLicImp: The Activation code is not licensed for use with the current installed version of Kofax Capture".

Cause

Incorrect configuration

Solution

Try one of the following approaches:

Option 1:

1. Verify the Kofax Capture version installed at the site by selecting Help ¦ About Kofax Capture from the Administration or License Utility menu. If the version is correct, then continue to step 2.
2. Reboot the licensing server machine and then reactivate the license.

Option 2:

While connected to the network via WIFI and after installation of Kofax Capture the License Activation displays an inactive LAN MAC address and is trying to activate using this MAC. The active MAC address tried to the WIFI connection is not recognized nor used during the activation process and the user receives 
A workaround is to use a LAN NIC Card for License Activation.

Option 3:

The activation license code should holds the license line for the product version, for KC 11.x, the license should have line 1310
