Generated PDFs Degraded After Upgrade

Issue

It seems that when customers upgrade to the latest KC 11.1, they noticed a drop in image quality in the PDF generated from PDF Generator.

Cause

This is because the older profiles are deprecated:-
1) PDF Image Only
2) PDF Image + Text

This is replaced with the newer profiles:-
1) Enhanced PDF Image Only
2) Enhanced PDF Image + Text

Solution

1) For PDF Image Only

• Switch to the newer Enhanced PDF Image Only profile

• Under Output, select from the drop down "Color Image Quality" to Lossless

2) For PDF Image + Text

• Switch to the newer Enhanced PDF Image + Text profile

• In Advanced > Operation Tab, select "Maximize Accuracy"

• Under Output, select from the drop down "Color Image Quality" to Lossless

All batch classes needs to be republished for the latest changes to take effect.
Only newer Batches will have the improved results.
