Single Sign On fails with Network Path Not Found error in log when launching any Module

Question / Problem:

I have set up Kofax Capture to use User Profiles linked to Active Directory. When my users log on to the system and start a Kofax Capture module they are getting a login dialog box. Why is this happening?

Answer / Solution:

The problem may be caused by a DNS problem locating the Active Directory domain controller.

If Capture is unable to locate the Active Directory domain controller the following error will be reported in the Kofax error log file:

Centralized User Management error: GetCurrentNetUser - Automation error
The network path was not found. , ,

If the domain has multiple tiers within the forest, make sure that the Kofax server’s TCP/IP configuration has the correct suffixes configured and that the DNS domain names can be properly resolved.
