Question / Problem:
How can I resolve an issue where the panels in the Validation module out of place or not visible?
Answer / Solution:
To resolve this issue, select Restore Toolbar Defaults under the View > Toolbars menu.
If this does not resolve the issue, then try removing the settings in the Registry for this user.
Please note that the Validation settings for users are stored in the following registry hive:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Kofax Image Products\Ascent Capture\Ascent Capture - Validation
Backing up and deleting this registry hive for this user will also resolve this issue. This registry hive will be recreated fresh the next time the user launches and exits out of the Validation module.
