Email export connector authentication fails with office 365

Issue

I need to set up an Email Export connection with Office 365 SMTP email environment. This requires TLS. I'm getting an error message:

Error in processing. The server response was: 5.7.3 STARTTLS is required to send mail [...]

Solution

For Office 365 exists a fix for Export Connector for Email, that resolves this error:

KofaxExportConnector-1.0.0.0.FIX10794_For_Email
