Why does the Canon ScanFront 330 scanning device not connect to KFS after successful device registration?
Answer / Solution:
The issue can occur if the IIS User Accounts do not have permission to access the following path:
To resolve this issue:
- Open IIS manager
- Navigate to Sites | Default Web Site | Kofax and expand the Kofax application tree.
- Right-click the
BrowserDevicefolder and select Edit Permissions.
- Add the
IUSRaccounts and grant them each read permissions to the BrowserDevice folder.
