Question / Problem:
What can cause the following error when testing the mailbox connection to a mailbox using EWS protocol?
Connection has been disconnected without response from Target 3. (EWS)
How can this issue be resolved?
Answer / Solution:
This error can be caused by using the Local System account as the logon account the Message Connector service while the Kofax Capture Settings has specified a domain user account.
To resolve this issue, change the logon account for the Message Connector service to the domain user account specified in the Kofax Capture Settings, and restart the Message Connector service.
