Mailbox Invalid error but import continues

Question / Problem:

KCIC-Email displays mailbox invalid (Red X) but continues to process incoming emails.

Answer / Solution:

When setting up mailboxes using the standard KCIC-Email, the mailbox may show a Red X indicating that it is improperly configured but upon testing, the mailbox works as configured.

The user interface is not updating to show that the mailbox is properly configured. This issue has been documented in SPR 92776.
