Question / Problem:

What can cause an issue where the KC Plug-In service won’t start and the following error message appears in the KC Plug-In console?

Last service start-up error: Configured batch class does not exist.

How can this issue be resolved?

Answer / Solution:

This issue can be caused by one or more Destinations configured with a Batch Class that is no longer published.

To resolve this issue, republish the unpublished Batch Classes that are configured in the Destinations.
