Question / Problem: 

Cannot import Excel document in KIC when using MS Office.

 

Answer / Solution: 

Sending any Excel results in the “Could not import image” in Message Connector Monitor and the error logs shows the following error:

 

 

 

2019-07-19 15:47:44,723 WARN  [Thread=13] [MCMessageProvider] The attachment Excelfilesample.xlsx of message https://localhost:25086/call/tsl/Vie...d-46610afdc002 could not be converted. The error is: Document conversion failure Document Conversion failed with exit code 13. EventID:38010

 

If Message Connector is configured to use MS Office as the engine conversion the check the following Windows settings :

a.      Printer is configured and enabled. The printer does not need a physical printer a virtual printer is sufficient.

 

b.      Print Spooler services is running and  not disable.

 

 

 

If a and b from above are not configured or running then will failed to import Excel documents.
