What can cause an issue where the KC Plug-In service won’t start, with the following error message?

Answer / Solution:
This issue can be caused by a corrupted
BatchCat.xml file, which can occur if the Administration module crashed while Batch Classes were being published.
To resolve this issue:
- Rename or delete the existing
BatchCat.xmlfile in the
- Open and close User Profiles in the Administration module, which will generate a new
- Restart the KC Plug-In service.
