PlugIn Service does not start and there is no error message

Question / Problem:

The KIC (Kofax Import Connector) Plugin service is starting, but then it stops with no error message. What could be the reason the service won't start?

Answer / Solution:

Check the Event Viewer. This could be caused by a problem that affects other services when the Event Viewer log gets full. An error message should appear in Event Viewer regarding the full log if this is the case.

To resolve this issue, open the Properties of the Application Log in Event Viewer, and increase the value for the Maximum Log Size setting.
