EWS with OAuth Support for email import in KIC

Issue

Does Kofax support Microsoft Exchange Web Services with OAuth for email in Kofax Import Connector?

Solution

• OAuth 2.0 for MS Graph will be part of KIC 2.8, 2.9 and KIC 2.10
• Since EWS is in maintenance mode and will not receive new feature updates it necessary to move to MS Graph.
• There is no plan to add OAuth 2.0 to EWS, since Microsoft is discontinuing EWS for Exchange Online.

MS will not only switch off basic authentication, but will also slowly switch off EWS functionality on O365.

The replacement for EWS connectivity to O365 is MSGraph.
