Increase KIC Throughput

Issue

When using Kofax Import Connector (KIC) in a high volume environment, are there any configurations in KIC that can be setup to increase throughput?

Solution

The following configuration changes in Kofax Import Connector may increase KIC throughput:

• Lowering the Poll Interval times in the KC Plug-In.

• Increase the Prefetched Messages number setting in the Message Connector Configuration Utility.

• Increase the Storage Size in the Message Connector Configuration Utility to accommodate the increased volume.

• Increase the Number of KIC process instance in the KC Plug-In | Kofax Capture settings
