Large PDF fails to be imported - "Could not import image" error in the Message Connector.

Issue

Large PDF fails to import if TIF conversion is enabled.

While KIC converts the PDF into a multi-page TIF image into the BLOB folder, it has been noticed that if the final image is bigger than 2GB it won't be imported into KC returning the "Could not import image" error in the Message Connector.  

Cause

ImageControls 32 bit limitation in handling files bigger than 2 GB.

Solution

Changing the solution:

• Try to import the original content (PDF) into KC using "Treat imported PDF files as TIFF images".
