Cause

This is not a limitation or a bug. This is by design for XML parsing.

Solution

This is a XML parsing issue. KIC requests are in XML format. We should avoid the following characters in password field and other fields that goes into the request:

1. <

2. >

3. &

4. '

5. ""

We have encountered similar XML parsing entries in the past and the best practice we would recommend is to avoid these 5 characters in the password.
