Citrix XenApp is a software which allows the use of applications which are installed on the server.
The advantage is that the applications can be accessed or opened on any operating system without the need to install the applications itself on the client.
The Citrix Receiver:
As you can see in this screenshot you need to download and install the Citrix Receiver (it’s free of charge) on the client and you are ready to go:
After the installation, the ICA file extension is associated to the Citrix Receiver.
http://<CitrixServerAddress>/citrix/xenapp is usually the URL from the Citrix WebPortal and it looks like that:
Use your credentials (provided from the Citrix server admin) to log into the Citrix WebPortal.
Now open TCLaunch and an application from the published application list (e.g. Notepad):
(TCLaunch can be configured probably to start automatically by login to Citrix. Ask the Citrix admin for details.)
Write something in Notepad and print with the TOPCALL Fax printer:
TCfW should be opened automatically on the client machine and you will see a new message window with the attached printout:
Checking the attachment, you can see in image mode that it is the content which was entered in Notepad:
Go back to text view to enter the recipient address for sending.
