System requirements and installation order for Ricoh Personal Paperless Document Manager

Information:

The information below lists the system requirements for installing the server and client components of the Ricoh Personal Paperless Document Manager.

Server requirements:

Supported operating systems:

  • Microsoft Windows XP Professional (Service Pack 3).
  • Microsoft Windows 2003 Server (Service Pack 2).
  • Microsoft Windows 2008 Server (Service Pack 1).

Note: The Ricoh PPDM Server component cannot be installed on a 64-bit operating system.

Server prerequisites (which must be installed in the order listed below):

  1. Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 5.0, 5.1, 6.0, (or 7.0 on Windows 2008 Server) installed with "World Wide Web Services".

Note: This prerequisite can be installed from the Windows Installation CD.
