How to change the default filter conditions when opening a document from iManage WorkSite / DeskSite.  When you select Open from DMS, is there a way to default the highlighted area to all file types instead of just PDF?  

Use the following steps.

  1. Create the following file: %ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Nuance\PDFProDMS.ini (usually C:\ProgramData\Nuance\PDFProDMS.ini)
  2. 2. Add the following to the PDFProDMS.ini file to display all files.  

    [WorkSite]

    PDFOPENFILTERAPPID=""

  3. If you just want to see PDF and WORD files, use this:

[WorkSite]

PDFOPENFILTERAPPID="ACROBAT, WORD, WORDX"

If you want to include other specific file types, you just have to include the Alias as shown in the filter dropdown in the iManage interface such as EXCEL for spreadsheets.
