Ricoh ESA Web - Device Configuration
The Ricoh devices that support our ESA Web Component are the MP 301 and MP C305. These devices must be deployed with a specific configuration in order to operate correctly. NSi Support does not provide assistance for re-configuring the devices. Please contact your local Ricoh team for assistance with the hardware configuration.

Steps and Instructions
Prerequisites
- Install Browser on one of the SD cards SD1 or SD2. The card is called as Browser Unit Type H. For eg. SD1
- Install Java application on another SD card other than the Browser installed above. For e.g SD2
- Install Extended JS application to HDD.
- Login onto the device webpage and go to Extended Feature settings.
- Select uninstall option and you will notice that you can only see Java platform and the extended JS.
- The Browser won't be listed in this list.

- Go to the device and perform the following procedure
- Enable Extended JavaScript by performing the following steps(Screenshots below for reference)
- Press the User Tools/Counter hardware button.
- Click the Browser Features button.
- Click the Browser Default Settings button.
- Click the JavaScript button.
- Make sure the Extended JavaScript is enabled.

Device Configuration
Create a browser shortcut on the MFP device panel
To create a browser shortcut on the MFP device panel, press the User Tools/Counter hardware button.

- Click the Browser Features button.
- Click the Browser Default Settings button.
- Scroll down and click the Bookmark button.
- Click the Common Favorites button.
- Click the New Program button.
- Enter "AutoStore" for Title and "http://[IPᅠaddress]:[PORT number]/home" where [IP address] is the IP address of the AutoStore and [PORT number] is the port number for where AutoStore is installed for URL. For example, if the IP address is 10.201.8.25 and the port number is 3243, use "http://10.201.8.25:3243/home".
- Click Ok.
- Exit from all menu screens.
Place the shortcut on MFP home screen

- To place the shortcut on the MFP home screen, click the User Tools/Counter hardware button.
- Navigate to Edit Home > Add Icon > Select Icon to Add > URL.
- Click AutoStore.
- Click Destination.
- Select an open area on the screen to place the shortcut.
- Exit from all menu screens.
- Press the AutoStore button. You will see the AutoStore application.
Configure the browser size
To properly size the browser, click the AutoStore bookmark.

- Click the settings icon. This is the icon that resembles a machine gear.
- Click Screen Settings.
- For URL Bar, click Do not Display.
- For Horizontal Scroll Bar, click Do not Display.
- Click OK.
- Exit from all menu screens.
