Problem Statement:

When using the Canon MEAP client for AutoStore, the following error occurs after pressing the scan button on the device.

"OperationNotAvailable"

Cause:

With the new Canon devices the option "Limit New Destination" is enabled by default.

Resolution:

1. Login into the Canon webconfiguration
2. MFP-IPADDRESS:8000/rps/
3. System Manger ID: 7654321  System PIN:7654321
4. Go to Settings-Registration
5. Function Settings > Send > Limit new Destination
6. Please check if any of the options are activated  Fax/E-Mail/I-Fax/File
7. If yes please uncheck these option(s).
